I became a Realtor® in 1996. My wife Paula and I work together in real estate. We both show houses, but Paula mostly handles the computer and paperwork while I try to answer the phone calls.
I come from a family of aviators and got my pilot’s license in Minnesota when I was sixteen. I went to Dillingham, Alaska in 1977 for a pilot job and ended up in Anchorage by 1982. As a med-evac pilot in the 90s I had a lot of time on my hands and got my Alaska real estate license. Between 1996 and 2011 I had two jobs, flying a few days per week and helping people buy and sell real estate the rest of the time. I spent nearly thirty years flying for a regional air carrier and retired from flying in 2011. I understand the erratic schedule of pilots and nurses and the unpredictability doesn’t faze me. I really enjoy working with people.
Paula and I have been married since 1983 and we have three grown children who live in Anchorage. I enjoy dipnetting and taking occasional cruise vacations. When you call, you will very likely catch me with the Alaska husky Corduroy taking me for a walk (pulling me at high speed).
